This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are my heroes.... they are such a blessing to me.

They make the most of what they have access to in the classroom, without complaints for what they don't have that they need.

My students are special because they are hungry to learn and make their mark on the world. They face adversity and come out on top!

My students are well behaved, talented, inquisitive and smart. Because of them, I have an awesome job.... I love it!

My Project

New Semester...New Start

My students need paper, dividers, rocket books, and Math 1 binders.

In my lower level class, we will be using rocket books to organize their notebook in a digital manner. In my upper level courses, we need basic supplies like notebooks and paper to be effective with their notebooks. We as a classroom need some updated materials to aide in organization.

My Students

I teach Math I at a high school in an area where 80% or more of the students receive free lunch and are considered economically disadvantaged. My students struggle to have the materials needed to be successful in the classroom due to these conditions. They are eager to learn and prove themselves but they just need the right materials. Given the right tools their learning will be elevated to new heights. I want to see they work to their full potential, but in order to do that they are going to need the correct materials.

My Project

My students got off to a rocky start this second semester with their organizational skills, but they are eager to get better.

So with the addition to the classroom of more supplies we will all be able to be more organized and work in an up to date digital classroom. I want to try everything to help my students be their best!!
