Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our school has adopted a new math curriculum for next year. However, some of the essential materials will not be provided. Teaching the new curriculum is challenging, and having the necessary materials will make a significant difference. The Grade 5 Card Deck and Game Board Bundle for Illustrative Math will provide us with the opportunity to effectively engage students in the new curriculum. Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not worry about whether their materials are going to work or not. I am very excited about teaching the new curriculum as a lifelong learner myself.
