This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a teacher from a low socioeconomic school, I work with the most challenged of students. Parents send their students to our school with the hopes that they will be given the tools and knowledge to excel in their education. They are the best kids ever!

My students are an amazing group of kids.

They are hardworking, enthusiastic, and very respectful. They come to school every day ready to learn, put in their best effort, and take pride in their work.

My Project

The ETA hand2mind Daily Math Fluency Kit will be a fantastic addition to the math program we already have in place. This kit comes with 180 lessons that will help my students learn about counting on and back, using five and ten, and using doubles when solving math problems.

"2nd Grade Daily Math Fluency includes 180 days of instruction designed to develop numeracy and the ability to use mathematical relationships to reason with numbers and numerical concepts."

Your generous donation will help me give my amazing 2nd grade mathematicians a head start on their math facts. With this program I'll have a new lesson each day that will help them build number sense in just 10 minutes a day!
