This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am reaching out with an exciting vision to enhance our math program with interactive, hands-on learning stations that will engage and inspire our students! To bring this vision to life, we’re seeking funding to purchase materials that will create an immersive experience, especially designed to support students with diverse learning needs, including those with learning disabilities.

Imagine our students deep in exploration—building math concepts with colorful Legos, piecing together geometric patterns with tangrams, and illustrating math ideas through arts and crafts.

They’ll display their work with magnets, bring ideas to life on sheet protector whiteboards, and enjoy a safe space to experiment and learn by doing. These stations will turn abstract concepts into tangible, accessible challenges, empowering all students to build their confidence in math!

By funding these tools, you’ll be providing our students with an exciting opportunity to connect math with real-world applications and foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. Together, we can create a learning environment where every student feels engaged, supported, and inspired to succeed.
