Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Technology is constantly changing and growing. Students need access to the newest technology so that they can learn and grow too. With the iPad, students have access to so many applications to help them learn math.
I teach in a school where nearly 100% of the students receive free or reduced lunches.
Their families do not have the resources, as others may, to provide them with the opportunities to interact with the newest technological advances. These students also come from many different backgrounds, speaking many different languages.
My Project
With access to the iPad, students will be able to interact and learn from so many math applications. In particular, my students are learning about addition, subtraction, and multiplication. The math applications that they will work with on the iPad will make learning math fun and accessible. There are also so many other applications that students may want to explore also.
It is so important that students have access to the newest technology available to keep up with the world around them.
Students need to have the newest technology available so that they don't get left behind. With your help, my students will be able to keep up with technology and use the latest tools to grow and learn. This is why I ask for your help to give my students an iPad and cover to interact and learn with in the classroom.
