This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Math is all around our environment. It represents many things. I want my students to use real-world math and learn to find answers to environmental questions. I want them to be able to read the data they collect and use the resources I have selected to solve real-world problems that may affect the environment.

I am asking for foamed number dice, place value dice, ten-frame dice, magnetic double ten-frame, mini whiteboard erasers, and ten-frame poppers.

These resources will help my students work with math skills that will help them solve word problems as well. By helping us with these resources you will be helping us apply math to solve word problems with real-world issues.
