Help me give my students fraction tiles, dry erase boards, and games to learn math by playing games. Dream big is what I am doing because having these materials would be so wonderful for my program.
My students are hard workers and love to learn new things. My job is to help them learn math skills better so they can succeed in life. My students get excited when they have learned a new concept or remember how to do a concept. Having learning beyond paper and pencil is what has made them shine even more.
My Project
My students will use these materials to practice the basic math skills that they struggle with learning. I will also use them to introduce the next level of skill set that they need in order to succeed in middle school math. This will give me the opportunity to be able to practice the basic skills without needing to just use pencil and paper. Having my kids practice with flashcards, do problems on whiteboards gives them more experiences with math that paper and pencil do not always offer. As like most of us my students thrive from being able to use math concepts differently in order for them to be able to gain the understanding that they need to have with the basic concepts.
