As a teacher in a high poverty school district, I work with students that are faced with challenges in and outside the classroom. Despite the challenges my students face, they persevere. My student are high energy, communicative, and enthusiastic learners. They have a lot of energy and are always looking for a fun way to learn. They love to get involved with the lesson in whatever way possible.
My students love to show off their work and teach their peers.
They are excited to teach each other, both in groups and in front of the class. My students are visual learners. They love to use different resources in the room to show learning strategies to their friends. The students are a great group of mathematicians, scientists, writers and artists.
My Project
My students need Challenge 24 and Mobi to help them practice their math skills and make math class more fun. With these games my students will master their math facts faster while being engaged in competition with their peers.
Through these math games students will develop mathematical skills, a sense of healthy competition, team work, and build relationships with their peers.
Mobi and Challenge 24 games will show my students that math is not just operations and problems on a paper. These games will show my students why we need to learn math and help them practice our daily lessons in a different way. Math games will foster a love of math and strategic game play that will help them in life.
