My Students
My students are awesome! They deserve all the resources to help them achieve success. My students attend a Title I school that is considered high poverty. We have almost 50% of our students receiving free or reduced price breakfast and lunch each day. We even have a weekend food program.
My students are working extremely hard to be successful with the Common Core curriculum, and I want to get them all the resources to achieve this.
I appreciate how hard they work for me each day, and I know they'd appreciate any support you could give them.
My Project
My students need the opportunity to stretch their brains in math. What better way to do that than with a variety of "smart" math games. These games include looking for patterns, designing a rollercoaster, and filling up a truck with shapes. These math games get their brains to think outside the box for solutions, work collaboratively with other students, and challenging their perseverance. The games I'm asking for are Trucky 3, IQ Blox, IQ Fit, and Roller Coaster Challenge Logic & Building Game. These math games will be used after they've finished their work and during math centers. Taking a different approach to teach them math concepts is exciting, and I know my students would LOVE the opportunity. I can't wait to watch my kids explore to other parts of their mathematical brains...are you ready to help us out?
