My Students

My second grade students are a fantastic group of kids. We are a small school and these kids have been in school together since kindergarten. It is great to see their friendships grow.

My students love to learn and are excited to be in school.

They love to learn and try new things. They work well together and we have a wonderful class community.

My Project

Having fluency in math facts is essential to success in mathematics. Having the ETA hand2mind Daily Math Fluency kit for second grade will help my second graders devolp math fluency.

Daily work on math fluency builds a student's confidence in math and allows them to feel success.

I know that working daily on math fluency will help my students to be more successful in second grade and beyond. The centers and hands on activities included in this kit will build number sense. Having a strong foundation in number sense and a fluency in math will help my students for life!
