Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials on my project all offer a diverse range of opportunities to engage preschoolers in math. The dinosaur counters can be used for sorting, counting, and basic arithmetic activities. The number stickers and number chart will provide my students with visual aids for number recognition and sequencing. In our preschool curriculum, we do a lot of tracing activities to help reinforce numeral formation. Mr. Potato Head will be used for fun and interactive games that involve counting, sorting, and pattern recognition. Painting aprons will simply be used for math-themed art to encourage a multidisciplinary approach to learning.

Integrating these math materials caters to diverse learning styles and abilities.

Engaging my kiddos in math-inspired projects makes math so much more fun and engaging. These materials will allow me to offer many ways of learning math and adapt to any of my students' needs.
