The students and I were able to use them during learning centers and small group activities, which made lessons more engaging and hands-on. One moment that stood out was when the children worked together with the new manipulatives to build patterns and share their creations with peers during free choice times. Their excitement and curiosity created a joyful learning environment, and I could see how much these resources encouraged collaboration and exploration.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the students' eyes lit up with excitement. They were eager to explore and immediately began asking questions about how to use them. The sense of wonder and enthusiasm they showed made it clear how meaningful these resources were in their learning journey. While I had to transition to another school to better support my needs as both a student and a mother, I left knowing that the materials would continue to spark creativity and learning for the TK students.","fullyFundedDate":1724825778303,"projectUrl":"project/sensory-adventures-for-young-minds/8705038/","projectTitle":"Sensory Adventures for Young Minds","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Chan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9707519_orig.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1757155930972","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9707519"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_122346","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":200,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":77,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":26,"percentWhite":5,"percentIndigenous":2,"percentLatinx":63,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":56.5,"schoolId":122346,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about New Los Angeles Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"New Los Angeles Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/los-angeles-unified-school-district/new-los-angeles-charter-elementary/122346"}
