Math Coach Accessibility for Support

My students need support in their learning of complex mathematical thinking. This computer will help me to best support their teachers in the classroom daily.

My Students

This year, I will be taking on a new role as the math coach at my school. I look forward to working with all of the students and teachers at my school getting everyone excited about about math.

Our school consists of hard-working, problem-solving students from a high-poverty area and represent several races and cultures from all over the world.

Each day, they come to school ready to learn.

They work hard on gaining as much knowledge about their ever-increasing technological world while dealing with satisfying their basic needs. They are absolutely amazing students!

My Project

In my new role as the math coach, I will need to be in classrooms for most of my day supporting teachers and their students in their understanding of math. Since I am not considered a traditional classroom teacher any more, I will not have access to the district issued laptops.

I need to have the flexibility and accessibility that a laptop computer can provide in my daily activities.

I will better be able to support teachers and students if I am in the classroom and not tied to my desk catching up on emails or trying to access online learning tools.
