This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I teach Geometry and AP Statistics at a Title I high school in Atlanta, GA. It has been three wonderful years working with the Atlanta Public School system, and I know I have found my home.

My students have wonderful personalities but need a confidence boost and extra support to be successful in math this year.

I know they all want to succeed, so I am reaching out for help with classroom supplies, materials, and experiences to further engage their minds.

My Project

We need more materials to stock up for Spring 2020 mathematics learning.

The mathematics department is requesting graph paper, copy paper, batteries for calculators, geometry compasses, construction paper, and hand sanitizer.

It is the beginning of a new semester and we are already running low of some classroom essentials. These supplies will be shared amongst the mathematics department teachers at the school and serve over 500 students. The spring semester is busy and full of testing as well as final projects. Having plenty of paper and supplies on hand will be essential for successful student learning. We are grateful for your donation!
