This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is in a low-income community in the heart of Los Angeles. The requested items are for activities in my classroom and the upcoming Fall Festival.

The storage requested is for math manipulatives for math centers; the tablecloths are for our Fall Festival interactive booths, where students and family members will be invited to participate in cultural and academic activities.

Your donation will help students access math concepts, as they will use the manipulatives in centers. Students will also grow internally and emotionally by engaging in welcoming school festivals.
