My Students

The majority of the students in my classroom come from a small farming community. We do the best to get the kids what they need, but we need your help! Students at my school are inquisitive, compassionate and independent. As a newer teacher of 1st grade, I want to give access to my students a way to improve the world they live in.

The students in my class enjoy working independently, as well as cooperatively.

My Project

My students will gain a greater number sense as they use the many math manipulatives that our school has lacked in the past. I am so excited to put to work the knowledge I have gained through staff PD to teach my first graders a better number sense. They will benefit for the rest of their lives.

The Stem activities will enhance and bring enjoyment to learning and excitement to their education.

The hand puppets will help with social emotional learning as they express their feelings through creative writing and presentations.
