Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a classroom full of kindhearted, six year old boys and girls. They spent all of last year in distance learning. This is their first year in a classroom and I hope to make it a memorable one. .

My Project

This project will bring twenty-two, different math and science story books into my classroom.

Math stories make concepts like addition and subtraction, measuring, probability and geometry super-accessible to students, and show them how we use math in our everyday lives!

The STEAM collection will not only introduce them to a world of STEAM, but it will also be used to tell stories of problem solvers and inventors, to motivate students to get creative and think critically! These books will be a great way to introduce new subjects to my students.
