My Project
I have asked for funds to use towards teachers pay teachers which as an amazing organization bringing in so many wonderful ideas, lessons, activities and more. I would like to use this gift to freshen up my math and reading centers.
By freshening up my centers & small group activities, engagement of my students will continue to the end of our year together.
I know that when engagement increases my students will also grow further in their independence. I would love to see them get excited about more hands on learning in reading and math. The lap boards will offer students to have different opportunities to sit separate from their usual seating arrangements at tables and get more comfortable in their learning. In addition to the use of funds and lap boards, I have asked for bags for take home learning projects and additional classroom décor to enhance our classroom environment.
