Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have a phenomenal and motivated group of fourth-grade scholars; some with IEPs (Individual Education Plans), students new to our country who are learning English for the first time, scholars with various learning styles, and readers/mathematicians at various grade levels. Regardless of this, they all work extremely hard every day and love our paper-circuit engineering and cardboard construction projects. They love making geometrical models, Makey Makey STEM Kit coding integrated with art, just to name a few of the maker ed and computer science projects we'll be working on this year. The resources requested here will support all my students in gaining skills/knowledge to work on such projects.

The math and language journals/notebooks will support our District-adopted math and science curriculum; these journals have shorter math problems that are easily accessible and they provide additional practice in several math domains.

Glue sticks, markers, and coloring pencils will be used for STEM/STEAM activities.
