My Students

Imagine a world without numbers. That is an impossible task because numbers are in everything that we do. Exercise, finance, cooking, and even sleeping! My students are learning the importance of understanding numbers through focused math lessons.

My students are full of energy and questions and are always up for a good numbers challenge!

I teach at a small, close knit community school where the kids spend time together both in and outside of the classroom. These students come from all walks of life and share their experiences with one another. It is a joy to watch them lean on each other's strengths and support one another as they are learning. As a result, my students love a challenge and thrive on some friendly competition.

My Project

Having this computer would make a huge difference in the lives of my students. My students will be able to take turns using the computer to do creative writing, complete assessments and to practice skills. It will be the reliable, dependable computer that we will all be able to count on for classroom technology needs.

Students in today's world need to have the opportunity to access technology to be successful.

It is important for students to develop a variety of technological skills, including word processing, and become familiar with computer technology. This MacBook will provide the practice needed students need and help ensure they are college and career ready.
