Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
When my class receives the materials from the Math Analysis is Fun project they will have an opportunity to analyze data. The items (stackable plastic storage bins, pencils, glue sticks, construction paper, digital timer) selected will allow my students to collect data, organize, and present the information to their peers.
Students will be able to collect data by using apps on the iPad, Apple Pencil, and keyboard case to organize data using apps.
Students will use the mobile whiteboard to present the information collected. Students will analyze their data and create documents that will support the material they will present in class.
Analyzing mathematics is essential to the success of my students. My students need to be empowered by allowing their voice to be heard which will allow them to be successful.
