My Project

These materials will support students across all of the classes I teach, ensuring we finish the school year strong! Everyday essentials like pencils are needed for all my students, as our supply inevitably dwindles by this time of year. We will also use the sanitizing wipes to maintain a clean and healthy classroom environment as we wrap up for the summer. Meanwhile, the scissors and glue will bring history to life for my 6th-grade social studies class during their end-of-the-year STEM project, in which they will engineer their own Roman aqueducts.

In my Introduction to Leadership class, the flair pens and construction paper are vital for our weekly "Blessings in a Backpack" community service project.

Each week, my students pack food for peers who lack access to a stable food supply, and they write colorful, uplifting notes to accompany the meals. This funding will ensure we have the supplies necessary to keep spreading this joy and support through the very last day of school.

Finally, the paint markers and laminating sheets will empower both my leadership and dance students to get creative. They will use these tools to design vibrant, durable posters for our upcoming dance showcase and other campus events. Having high-quality paint markers makes it so much easier for the kids to create visually appealing promotions that build school spirit and keep our campus connected. I will also be able to use many of these materials next school year.
