Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach three groups of eight graders - Algebra 1, AVID Pre-Algebra, and Pre-Algebra. All of our students deserve to retain information from math lessons throughout the school year. Students will be able to access this information now and when they attend high school. I utilize interactive notebooks and the materials are needed to make learning efficient. Ultimately, a student is able to access their notebook and say "I remember that lesson!" because of the visual markers and vocabulary terms we learned in class. The support will go a long way!
