I believe it's essential to a student's growth in mathematics to have their own record of learning -- NOTES! In order for students to succeed, they need to have their own notes. I have been able to utilize interactive notebooks to improve student engagement. Our students will benefit from having notebooks in case they do not have one. It is also important for students to have independent work done by hand. Although we are in a digital age, I believe it is best for our students to practice with worksheets from Teachers Pay Teachers.
