My Project
I am working to increase classroom materials for my nonverbal students and for students who are building their expressive language skills. I am making books and pages that will allow students to select pictures and insert them in the designated pages to express their wants and needs, make comments, and ask/answer questions. The Velcro dots will allow students to make selections from pictures/photos and/or words and insert them in the appropriate places within materials. The Book Buddy Bags are a fantastic way to store materials in an organized manner that is easily seen and accessed when needed. The rings requested are also used to keep the materials grouped and organized. Organized materials are key when helping students increase their communication skills.
