This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These tools, when used together, create a multi-sensory learning environment. They cater to different learning styles (visual, auditory, kinesthetic), promote deeper engagement with the material, and foster a greater sense of ownership over the learning process. Whether students are visually organizing notes, physically manipulating math objects, or working independently with privacy folders, these resources support a holistic approach to education that goes beyond just reading and memorization.

The goal of incorporating markers, notebooks, privacy folders, and math manipulatives into the learning process is to enhance student understanding, foster independence, and create a more engaging, hands-on learning environment.

More specifically, the key objectives are to deepen understanding of concepts, encourage active learning, and promote organization and reflection.

My students are special because they are in a phase of constant growth and transformation. They’re not only learning academic content, but also developing social skills, emotional intelligence, and personal identities. They have BIG dreams and have a great desire to make a difference in their community.
