Masterful Mathematicians

Help me give my students opportunities to accelerate their mathematical understanding through the use of hands on materials that spark their curiosity and interest! We need folder games, fraction tiles, ten frames, and other math learning resources.

My Project

As a math coach/interventionist I have the ability to impact every student in the school, meet them at their academic level and facilitate their growth and maximum potential. The children at our school are highly engaged in math and the hands on manipulatives and games I have chosen will allow them to develop a solid understanding of all the math standards at each grade level. I have chosen items such as rekenereks, fraction manipulatives, and individual games to enhance our school wide acceleration model in math. My goals for this project are to give every student the opportunity to develop and maintain their positive mindset in math which will impact their progress and development beyond which they ever imagined. I strongly believe in the quote, "My teacher believed I was smart, so I was." The children with whom I work are ready and willing to accelerate their math growth and knowledge and I know with the help of this project they will succeed.
