My Students

My students are diverse and come from all over the world!

They are learning English as a new language as well as adapting to their new environment!

They are engaged in the process and are a joy to teach.

My school is a wonderful community of teachers and students. Though our school is great, it comes with challenges as a Title I school. We struggle to meet the needs of our students, because of the lack of rigorous, innovative, and fun items in the classroom, which would engage students and encourage learning!

My Project

We are now in year 3 of this Covid Crisis and there isn't an end to this pandemic. My students and I are happy to be in the building learning and growing.

Having disposable masks is mandatory and essential to keep us from spreading Covid-19.

Each day at school, someone is sent home because of the presence of Covid symptoms or having been informed that they tested positive for Covid-19. We want to stay learning in person but cannot be getting sick because we do not have masks to keep us from spreading Covid-19.
