Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are autistic and have severe learning difficulties. Most of their learning is done using technology and hands-on activities to help relieve their anxiety. They enjoy doing most of their work on their iPad. My students are hands-on learners who want to stay busy while having fun.
We are located in a high-poverty area.
My students are from different grade levels from kindergarten to fifth grade this year. Every day with my students is an extra day full of many surprises.
My Project
Help me get my students some new masks and some cleaning supplies to help keep our classroom clean and safe during this time.
Masks can be very uncomfortable, help me get my students masks that will fit them and feel comfortable on their little faces during the times they need to wear them to be safe.
We need more masks not only for the students but the adults working with the students side by side as well. We need to try to stop the spread by cleaning our desks constantly and making sure we are staying clean and safe.
