My Project

Hello, I am seeking assistance in establishing an engaging and interactive learning environment for my upcoming students. I have over 20 years of teaching experience and am interested in incorporating new, creative, and enjoyable centers into my classroom. I teach a diverse group of students with severe cognitive disabilities using an adapted curriculum.

I have observed that blocks and building sets are highly effective in encouraging students to use their imagination and construct new environments.

Many of my students come from low-income backgrounds and may not have regular exposure to a variety of experiences. Providing a building center with blocks and materials such as Magna-Tiles would allow students to explore their creativity and build their own worlds in a supportive setting.
