Mary Poppins Vacuum
Help me give my students a clean school to help them learn better.
Every morning in my classroom, I start off by greeting each student with a hello! I believe as a teacher it is important to recognize each student by name, giving them a sense of worth in my classroom. I want students to feel valued and cared for!
My students come from many diverse backgrounds.
We have a diverse group of scholars who come in at all different levels and abilities. My classroom has twenty-five students in it. The community I work in is a welcoming, warm, and compassionate community.
My school needs two vacuum cleaners to help keep our classroom and school clean. We are on a three day rotation with our cleaning schedule so our rooms do not get vacuumed every night. By getting two vacuums we can use these in the office and classrooms clean. Having students help keep our classroom and school clean helps them gain life skills to help them in their futures. Often times when we vacuum our rooms there is a lot dirt that we get up because our rooms only get vacuumed on a three day loop. I believe by having more vacuums we can clean the school better and eliminate germs and students getting sick which would help students be in school more.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
