My Project

Every single student deserves the opportunity to become a musician and learn how to play an instrument. Music enriches the lives of all of us - whether we realize it or not, and for many students, music is the reason to go to school. I am taking over a well-established program at a local high school. After inventorying the percussion instruments this spring, I noticed that the program I'm stepping into is missing two major percussion instruments - a tam tam, and a marimba. We were able to fundraise for a tam tam, but we are still short a high quality marimba in our program.

I would love to be able to provide a well-rounded percussion education to my band students and have high-quality sounding instruments such as the marimba requested in this grant.

My students would appreciate your support!
