My Project

As we make our way through the school year students begin to tire. They have been in school working hard for several months and the wintery gray days start to become endless. We need some new books to reenergize our classroom!

Enter: The March Madness tournament of books!

Similar to the famous basketball tournament our class will be hosting a book tournament. With a fully filled two division (fiction versus nonfiction) bracket we are almost ready to get started, we just need the books! All of the books chosen are newer published high interest texts to introduce students to new series, authors, and ideas. These books will help us to get out of our winter rut and reenergize us to fuel our learning through the spring, while also adding some high interest and high quality texts to our classroom library for students to enjoy for years to come!
