My Students
I teach amazing kids. They are hard working and love learning.
My students love to read and I want to embrace that love in order to grow their love of reading even more.
Being able to offer a fun reading competition that will motivate my students to read more books will help do just that.
My students are hardworking, smart, and caring kids. They love having a classroom full of good novels to read. My student keep me inspired to be the best I can in order to help them meet their full potential. They remind me that teaching is about them and how I can best support them in their academic pursuit.
My Project
Our students voted on books and helped to narrow down our March Madness Reading Competition to eight books. Now they are down to the Final Four books!
Having more copies of these titles will allow for more students to be able to participate in this fun, engaging, competitive reading competition.
My students love to read and this competition is helping to continue to support their love of reading new chapter books. Having more copies available will allow our slower readers to keep the books longer in order to finish reading each book completely. Watching a child's love for reading grow is one of the greatest gifts you can give a teacher!
