This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Growing community in the art room is so vital to engaging young artists. It has always been my goal to give them the confidence they need to explore their possibilities. I believe that collaboration is the best way to engage students who feel uncertain about their capabilities, because as they work together they can learn from each other!

My upper students have been begging to create a mural in the art room, and I want to give them that chance!

This will be the way they leave their legacies behind as they embark on their adventures to high school. We will design the mural on computers using the stylus pens, then project onto the walls. We can't do it without your help!
