The pencils have, obviously, gone to use in creating artwork, and it's been wonderful to have a supply that I don't have to worry about running out of. Keeping them in the organizer has allowed students to have autonomy over getting their materials, including returning pencils that need to be sharpened, thus helping us keep track of everything as a whole group. It's worked seamlessly and I am so grateful to these donations. The new paintbrushes were a hit: so many students expressed joy at getting to be the first ones to \"dye\" the bristles as they painted. The long, clear handles are excellent for students of all levels to hold, and provide a good reach so that they can access colors and water cups from a further distance than before. The paints themselves are super bright, and again, students were gleeful at being able to use new materials.
