I would like to offer my students an environment that: -Allows for choice...how can we expect children to become problem solvers if we always solve their problems for them? -Allows for movement..wobbling, rocking, and bouncing all lead to increased oxygen to the brain and helps young minds focus and stay alert. -Allows for more communication, collaboration and a sense of community...traditional seating can make students territorial with their space. Flexible seating prepares students for the real world by teaching them to share, take turns and be patient.
