My Project

Our school goes crazy for March Madness. Luckily, our brilliant science teachers have capitalized on it by starting March Mammal Madness. Students research mammals (and other animals) for their species characteristics and decide which one would survive a fight or battle. A university group selects new animals each March and releases the bracket winners each day. Our winning teacher and student receive a gaudy, plastic trophy and bragging rights!

We need books for our passionate students to continue learning about animal characteristics as they have gotten hooked on Science through our March Mammal Madness unit.

These books are beginning nonfiction texts that cross genders and academic levels just as our entire unit does. Help us keep these students learning science and loving it!
