This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items in this project are necessary primarily for our percussion section in the band. The new mallets are going to enhance the sound of our mallet percussion section by ensuring our vibraphone, glockenspiel, and tubular bells have good-quality mallets to play with.

The other item in our project will help us replace the current broken ratchet that we have!

With this new one, we can now perform auxiliary percussion parts that require the sound of a ratchet. Since our next concert features spooky sounds in several of our pieces, this new ratchet is essential!
