Malama Na Honu -Save Our Hawaiian Seals and Sea Turtles

Help me give my students glue sticks, chart paper, pencil sharpener, stapler, poster board paper, and deluxe stapler to do a PBL project on saving sea turtles and monk seals in Hawaii.

My Project

Our students will be starting a PBL project on saving our Hawaiian Sea Turtles and Monk Seals. We will need strong poster paper to create posters to put up around our school to spread the message to our school on what they can do to protect our sea turtles and monk seals. The students will have a sense of pride and ownership knowing that they are making a difference in saving our monk seals and sea turtles. We will use the chart paper to first brainstorm as a class how we can save these Hawaiian endangered animals. We will use the glue sticks to glue "ocean trash" after a beach clean up, so the children can show others what kind of trash is found at the beach, thus, they can tell others to also pick up their trash so it doesn't blow into the ocean. We also need a new electric pencil sharpener for the children to do their poster sketches....it takes too long for them to sharpen using their hand held sharpeners. Our class sharpener is broken. We will use a heavy duty stapler to staple "ocean trash" and other items to our posters. Thank you so much for your consideration.
