Thanks to you, my students and I have been able to explore and learn about financial literacy through hands-on projects that are both fun and educational.\r\n\r\nWe are currently using the new resources in many exciting ways. For example, we are creating projects for teacher appreciation using the T-shirt press, making pouches to sell at our upcoming Family Fun Fair as a fundraiser for school events like Spirit Week, and designing appreciation gifts for our school staff with the fuse beads. We're also making keychains with shrink art to sell at the fair. Throughout these activities, students are learning about the costs of making products, searching for the best materials to make smart choices, and understanding the concept of profit—all while developing their entrepreneurial skills.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials, their reactions were heartwarming. They were overjoyed and so thankful, expressing how much they appreciated the support and how inspiring it was to see people from around the world impacting classrooms everywhere. They loved creating with the T-shirt press, fuse beads, shrink art, and pouches. Their excitement about learning how to run a business and engage in DIY entrepreneurship was truly inspiring.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we plan to continue these projects for many years to come. Our student council will also be involved in developing new items to sell that benefit not just students, but the entire school community and families. We're exploring creating school logos and shirts using Canva, and students will learn about graphic design to help us produce items that bring joy to everyone involved.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making this possible. The graphic novels I chose were different from their usual choices but I felt they needed books there more culturally inclusive and that would be a mirror to some of them. Where they could relate to the characters in the stories. \r\n\r\nAlso, with the new books the students were able to have new a different places that they could sit and read. The new folding floor chair gave them the choice to read their book at their desk or on the floor somewhere in the classroom. Because we had some shipping delays, the anticipation had been building for weeks. When I finally set it up, the students immediately took ownership of this new resource by creating a fair \"sign-up sheet\" system, ensuring every group gets a full week to lead their brainstorming sessions at the board. It has quickly become the command center of our classroom, and the donated markers and erasers are being put to use every single day.\r\n\r\nWe are currently in the brainstorming stage of a high-energy STEM project where students use recycled materials to engineer their own carnival games. The whiteboard has been a game-changer for this unit. Students used the board to sketch out complex designs for potential games like: claw games, catapult soccer and basketball, bowling, and ring toss. By illustrating their ideas first, they were able to identify exactly where \"potential and kinetic energy\" function within their games. For example, one group used the board to map out how the \"stored\" elastic potential energy in their catapult would convert into kinetic energy to launch a basketball.\r\n\r\nBeyond the physics, the board helped the students become organized engineers. They used the space to create \"Material Master Lists,\" figuring out exactly what they would need—from cardboard and felt to rubber bands and tape—to turn their sketches into reality. Having a large, visual space to collaborate meant they could troubleshoot their designs before wasting any supplies.\r\n\r\nThe next step for my students is the \"Build and Test\" phase. Now that their brainstormed ideas and material lists are finalized on the board, they will begin the physical construction. Once the games are finished, we will display them at our Curriculum Fair then the PTO will be using these games at our annual Fun Fair. \r\nYour support didn't just give us a board; it gave us a professional space to collaborate, iterate, and bring scientific theories to life. The loose parts trays, wooden serving trays, and SumBlox math blocks are used during small-group exploration to build early math understanding, problem solving, and collaboration. During literacy time, the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom activity tree allows students to physically interact with letters, retell the story, and strengthen alphabet knowledge through playful learning.\r\n\r\nI use the Cricut Maker as a teacher tool to create labels, visual supports, and customized learning materials for our classroom centers. This allows me to design clear, engaging, and developmentally appropriate resources that help students navigate routines independently and interact more deeply with each learning space. The Kwik Stix paint and tabletop paper roll dispenser have also transformed our art area into an inviting space where creativity can flourish and students feel confident expressing their ideas.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the excitement in the room was unforgettable.
