I am always so excited and grateful when a project gets funded! Your generous donation is making a difference in my students' lives and experiences in the classroom.\r\n \r\nI am always looking forward to my materials arriving, and this time was no different. I immediately started figuring out ways that I could put the art supplies to use in my classroom. The students were able to decorate their Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Ears using the different art supplies and they were so creative in their designs! The culmination of this activity was the students wearing their ears all together as an entire sixth grade group. It was so much fun to see the different ways that the students used the art supplies to decorate their ears. It is exhilarating to see students use their creativity to make their projects. They thought of using the materials in creative ways that even I didn't think of doing!\r\n\r\nThe envelopes, file folders, and pens have also been so helpful in organizing my students' work and also my work. I am not the best at organizing, but the plastic colored envelopes have been a wonderful aid in increasing my organization skills. I have been able to color code different subjects and assignments and it has helped me immensely. The pens have also added a brightness to my papers and corrections. \r\n\r\nAccess to these resources has been invaluable. They have significantly enhanced and accelerated my students' growth.
