Help me give my students an alphabet rug for whole group instruction fun!

As a first year kindergarten teacher, I am learning along with my students. Especially now that we are virtual at the moment, I want them to still get the highest quality education possible. Just like in person, those beautiful personalities shine through that computer screen everyday.
In my class, my biggest priority is building a community between all of my students that is inclusive, kind, and safe.
Every student needs to feel represented and cared for. They love to dance, play outside, and color. We have a mix of different abilities and skills, some students are learning the letters of the alphabet and how to hold their pencil while some already know every letter and sound they make and can write their names easily. It is all about making sure each of those students is not getting left behind or not being challenged enough.
They love to help each other which reinforces their relationships and how to work together as a team. We also work on how to follow directions, sharing, and our core education content like how to group different objects in Math and what authority figures and responsibilities are in Social Studies.
Every classroom needs an alphabet rug! It is where students can gather together to listen to a story I’m reading at the front of the class. It can be used for our mindfulness time of doing yoga and meditation. Or used for partner and group time when students are working on building relationships and sharing. When students are in different small groups, some are doing activities on the floor. When students are reading, they can lay down instead of sitting up.
Not only is it a place where we can all come together, but it can also be used as another form of flexible seating.
When students want to meditate or stretch out for a minute, they can go to the carpet for a minute. They can even do their work from there if they need a break from our other options. It is also very helpful with learning the alphabet. It makes it more fun and can be used in many educational games that make learning fun.
