My Project

My students will use the manipulatives to solve math problems. This will give them the opportunity to become independent learners, and problem solvers. My goal for this project is that after using the manipulatives for a period of time, the students will begin to learn their math facts. My students come from a low income environment. Many of them have not had the chance to get ahead of the math world. I know that children learn best by doing, and that is why the manipulatives are so important to us.
