Making the Most of Math Skills

Help me give my students the best hands-on approach to sharpening their math skills independently by providing them with materials that provide an opportunity of various skills that match their learning styles.

My Project

My students are active learners with many types of learning styles. In order to reach all different types of learners, I am requesting things such as balance scales, addition/subtraction games, activities to match the set with the numerals and provide one to one correspondence approach.

Research shows that children learn best by hands on approaches.

My students thrive best when they have the opportunity to manipulate items in order to provide better activity engagement. Many of the activities can be adjusted in different ways to make a more challenging activity or simplified.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
