My Project

I am a third-grade teacher at an elementary school located in Utah. I typically have 22-32 students in my classroom. We love to learn through real sources such as newspapers, magazines, and more. We even raised a frog in the classroom to study the life cycle of organisms. I am seeking the opportunity to teach social studies this year by studying real and current events through Scholastic News. Not only will this help my students become more familiar with the world around them, but they will also have the chance to write informative and opinion essays regarding what they’ve learned.
