Making Science Rock

My students need four Student-Size Take-Apart Body Models, one larger model, a quiz game show with quiz cards, and a set of Learning Science Activity Tubs.

Learning Science in leaps and bounds. We are a high-need community. Over 50% of our students are on free or reduced lunches, putting us in the poverty level. These students need to learn about their world through a hands on approach. Most have never even been to a museum or out of their own town.

I will be teaching 5th grade next year after 8 years teaching 4th graders. I will remain with the same class I had last year. These students loved science and I tried many different hands on approaches, but was limited in supplies. This will enable me to teach the students visually and in a fun way.

I need many experiment type activities. They are an active group with a love for science. I want to feed into that. I want them to be able to learn in a way they have never been able to do before. I need the lab kit experiments to use when studying the human body, cells, matter, planets, and the list goes on and on. Most of these students have been taught strictly with textbook and paper. I want them to know that science is more than just learning definitions have also asked for 1 large scale human body with removable organs and 4 student sized human bodies with removable organs. This will increase their knowledge of how the body's organs function together. I need one quiz show learning game with extra cards to review for state mandated testing and classroom chapter tests in a fun and exciting way. All of the above equipment will help to increase the students' love of learning and put them on the path to success in the future.

They will see cells form, the parts of the body and how it all functions together, and how everything is made up of matter. You will help them know that there is more to learning than just sitting at a desk all day, that you can explore the world around you.
