This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach at an Art and Science Magnet school. My students pick an area of concentration whether that be science, dance, art, band, or drama. Students who are in my classes are either the lab students who take their core science class and mine or students are in the accelerated class. Accelerated classes are working towards receiving high school credit in 8th grade.
Students in my classes come to our school to improve themselves academically, particularly in science.
It is so important that I challenge them and allow them to explore the world while in my class.
My Project
My students need several items to help their science fair boards look presentable. All students in my classes must conduct a science fair experiment as part of their class requirements. For many of my students this is difficult due to financial constraints. By having several of the items in class and available, students can focus on other important aspects of their project.
Being able to print pictures off is one of the biggest struggles for my students.
By having the Prynt students can use their phone to print off plenty of pictures for their science fair boards.
Having easily available materials, such as hot glue guns and science fair board headers, students will be able to get materials to use to make their boards look good and to display their work!
