Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students love the opportunity to show their learning through their own art creations, rather than just using textbooks or worksheets.

My students are excited to create and illustrate animal and plant life cycles, food chains, complete and incomplete metamorphosis, and many other science topics.

Being a Title I school, most of my students do not have their own basic school and art supplies such as colored pencils, markers, glue and paper.

I hope to give my students the opportunity to colorfully express themselves and showcase their knowledge of the science curriculum through art!
