My Students

Currently, I work with adventurous, thoughtful, intelligent, and eager third, fourth and fifth graders. Many of my students receive free or reduced-price lunch, which places them near or below the poverty level. I also have kids with special needs and with learning disabilities. With the goal of bringing struggles on-level we will attack various types of real world academic applications and challenges.

Regardless of their struggles, each student comes to school excited to learn something new each day.

They love to read, and they love working together on group projects. Our students are dedicated to their studies and to being a positive addition to not only our school, but our planet. They are our future activists and entrepreneurs.

This group of kids deserves every last resource and support available!

My Project

Currently, I provide intervention services for more than 100 students. Good news is that we have a lot of human resources and some good materials. The bad news is that the students are not connecting to the experience. They aren't always excited to have to leave their classmates for more reading instruction. We want to make learning fun and exciting. We also want to keep the space feeling warm and feel different than just a normal classroom. These creative chair options will add excitement and comfort to our small space and will allow our special needs students to redirect their energy.
