My Students

This year, I have a new neighbor down the hall and every time I pass her room, I want to sit down and learn math. Her room is beautiful. And I want the students and teachers who come through the library to have the same exact feeling.

Our students come from a variety of backgrounds, but over 60% of our school population are eligible for free or reduced lunch.

They are highly motivated to learn, but as all children do (and adults too!), they respond very well to displays and decorations.

My Project

I prepare many displays, but I'm spending too much time cutting and pasting. Time that could be spent putting together orders, planning lessons or spending time with students to do research. An electronic die cut machine would allow me to prepare eye-catching displays, while cutting down on the time I spent cutting.

It creates a warm atmosphere to learn and draws them into the reading material. A Silhouette Cameo electronic die cutting machine will not only save time, but beautify our space and draw potential readers into the library.
